It seems that the Brooklyn brownstone is cool new design of the year. First came Spike Lee’s Absolut Brooklyn, and now Monkey, of the upcycycled-record chandelier necklace fame, has released his new collection of edgy Brooklyn pillows, called Build Your Block.
There are five pillows, each an original screenprint of uniquely Brooklyn buildings: a corner deli, and abandoned building, a modern complex, and two different brownstones. And I love that they come in pink!
Throw em on your craigslist-sourced couch to build a city-scape, sit back, and sip a Sixpoint Craft Ale while you listen to The Bravery.
