Alden Wicker of Clean Hippie on her rooftopWhat is a Clean Hippie?

A Clean Hippie is someone who wants to live life well. She is concerned about the depletion of our natural resources, the horrendous air pollution in New York City, and the pesticides on our food. But she doesn’t think that being sustainable has to be granola. A Clean Hippie knows she can be happier, healthier, more beautiful, and still just as fashionable, all while taking care of the world around her.

Based in the Big Apple, Clean Hippie tells you the places to go and shop, gives you the lowdown on trends in green living, and clues you in on the hot green events in NYC, plus a little good music thrown in for fun. Check back daily for tips on living your life the best you can!

    hi Alden,
I am wondering if you did get to come to our Hungry Filmmakers' Screening in NYC in September and did you see my short from my film series, The Texas Huntress? I would love to connect with you…We are still editing Episode 1, and we just wrapped Episode 2 on Friday night, in the Berkshires. Episode 2 included me hunting pheasant with well-known New England Chef, Brian Alberg, of the Red Lion Inn, with our dinner held at the amazing white barn above Chris Weld's Berkshire Mountain Distillery. With Collaboration from Laura Meister of Farmgirl Farms, Designer Elena Letteron of the interiors boutique, Germain, Gregg Charbonnea of Barrington Coffee Roasting Company, Alex Harney of Harney and Sons, etc. Your blog is wonderful, and I would love to talk sometime soon. Cheers! ashley chiles

    Hi Alden,
You have an awesome site! Both myself and my partner love it.
We are trying to be greener and have been looking at ways to do it so stumbled here.
It is all very new to us at this moment :)
There is another site I came across called http://www.greentradersglobal.com and would love to see people recycling a lot more especially considering its free and a great way to meet people.
I hope to see more of your updates coming up!
